When I click on a file in the Documents folder, why does it ask for my username and password again?
It may ask for your username and password if you're not logged into a Queens computer with your Queens account.

This site works best in Internet Explorer.
Yes, you can BUT... you should use the latest version of FireFox on a Mac.  You'll notice more features available in Internet Explorer.

What are My Sites?
My Site is your personal site to share information and to upload files.  Staff & Faculty have the ability to create a My Site.

I click Sign in and nothing happens... I get a page not found...  What can I do?
Try:
  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. On the top menu, click Tools à Internet Options
  3. Then click Security tab at the top of the new window (titled: Internet Options)
  4. Click on Local Intranet
  5. Click Custom Level at the bottom
  6. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the 2nd new window (titled: Security Settings – Local Intranet Zone)
  7. Under Logon, select Prompt for user name and password
  8. Press OK on the 2nd window
  9. Click on Trusted Sites
  10. Click on Sites
  11. Make sure that portal.queens.edu is not there.  If if is, select it and Remove
  12. Press OK on the 1st window
  13. Close Internet Explorer
Open Internet Explorer and try to login to the portal
